Thanks for posting this WR. Just watching the clip I'm skepticle on how non-biased this will be. Did you notice that of the several short segments that were shown of track racing, most of them featured some sort of wreck. Dorchak was on there maybe 5 seconds and flat out lied. She doesn't give two hoots in hell about the people in the industry and the lives and that have forever been altered by G$K's interfering. That goes for HSUS as well. Guccione was telling the truth. So was Wayne Strong.

When I saw Dorcheck, I said outloud liar. Why they have to show the wrecks. They don't happen all the time. I agree with the workers, they are trying to take their livelihood away.

There are some now that claim they have evidence based on some DNA testing that the greyhound did not originate in ancient Egypt or areas around there, and are not as ancient as was previously thought. Some claim the breed is actually much younger and come from the Celtic regions. So the documentary may be factual and may not. I personally don't care. The term "ancient" is going to be in the eye of the beholder. I have younger people than me think I am ancient! No one however should despute the fact that they are indeed "Poetry in Motion". As much as G$K, or any other fanatical AR group would not want to admit, they well know that the consequences of the elimination of racing will result in the greyhound breed as we know it disappearing. And that would be a shame. As long as G$K and other fanatics continue to deceive the general public, with no attempt to become part of the solution, but instead remain part of the problem, I will forever be opposed to giving them any forum whatsoever that gives them a voice or attention. Bill Buchanan may have his heart in the right place, and his love for the greyhound breed due to his adoption of a grey, but it would have been wise for him to do some heavy research on who he featured on this film and the format he chose.
