G$K and other fanatical AR's will continue their lies and deceptions because their belief is to never let the truth get in the way of a good story!
As a very well known author once told me, "I can't understand why the greyhound racing community doesn't stand up for itself". That was some time ago.
It's too bad these wonderfully written pieces confine themselves to the pages of little known internet sites or breed publications.
In the racing greyhound community, there exists some very elloquent writers.
The writings of Rockingship and Dennis McKeon deserve to be out in the general public. The general public will base their opinion on whatever information is available to them, and if G$K is the only one doing the talking it's no wonder the sentiment that exists.
One can only imagine what the outcome of the Massachusetts vote would have been if more of this would have been available at the time.
I think that the greyhound racing community is finally starting to stand up for itself and say enough is enough.
Even though I do not have the gift of the written word as these two fine authors do, it's yours and my duty to be sure that these writings get passed on and not buried away. How else will someone who is not close to racing ever hear the truth.
