Don't see them funneling money towards helping the breed!!!
Instead of wasting money on politicians and lobbiests G$K now has the opportunity to donate to a good cause. Any bets on whether they will or not?
My hat's off to the owners, trainers, staff, and management of Wheeling Island.
Also to the West Virginia racing commission.
And a big thankyou to Ohio St. and Dr. Bohenko.

This is Great!! Take that Grey2K. I make donations to Ohio State and Dr. Couto's greyhound program. I am thrilled with this and maybe it could spread to other tracks and other Universities. It's a great first step.

The University of Florida had a program in the 70s with their Sports Medicine Department, they even installed a 1/4 mile track complete with starting boxes, timing system, photo finish camera and a Aldritt lure. I had contacted UF about using the track for NOTRA races a few years back, UF hadn't used the track in years to my knowledge.  Our club got use of another track so I dropped trying to get use of the UF track. I would suggest everyone repost the article on their FB page or anywhere else to spread the word.
